Winter Park Resort is the oldest continually operated ski area in Colorado with a rich history and a commitment to offer a first-class authentic mountain experience in this winter wonderland full of adventure we are all fortunate enough to live, work and play in. The Winter Park Resort has a 75 year history and over 40 years with the famed Mary Jane territory and her unmatched bump runs. Receiving 29 feet of annual snowfall a year, Winter Park Resort has the most consistent snowfall season after season.
The resort features Seven Territories spanning 3,000 acres of award-winning terrain for the beginner to the expert skier or boarder. Besides the renowned Winter Park Territory, there’s Eagle Wind Territory known for glade skiing, Parsenn Bowl Territory you won’t want to miss its panoramic bowl skiing/riding, Terrain Park Territory for the thrill seekers ready to hit the jumps and catch some air, the Vasquez Ridge Territory best for untouched powder, the Cirque Territory with steep and deep runs, and the world-famous Mary Jane Territory and her bumps.
With a vertical drop of 2,220 feet at the Winter Park Territory, a maximum run length of 4.5 miles at the Mary Jane Territory, and an elevation of 12,060 feet at Parsenn Bowl, you can’t imagine this natural wonder, you can only experience this natural Rocky Mountain high that keeps us here.
Skiing and Snowboarding
The enormity may seem overwhelming, but Winter Park Resort is truly a family resort for beginners as well as expert level skier/riders. For those of you considering trying this sport for your first time, you are in excellent hands. Winter Park Resort travels all over the world to hire and recruit the highest certified and trained ski instructors in the industry. They offer 1 day to multiple day lessons for adults and children. You can even schedule private lessons to get more personalized care. If you need rental equipment we have great local rental shops with discounted package deals we offer through RMG.
Winter Park Resort is an amazing mountain to learn to ski on, and to continue to explore and grow into the bump runs, but it’s also a favorite for those that don’t ski or ride. Enjoy the fun atmosphere and family friendly feel of the Village and the resort. The Zephyr Express lift can accommodate 20 gondolas to transport guests up to The Lodge at Sunspot for dinner. The resort also offers snow cat tours around the mountain, as well as snow shoe tours. The Village at Winter Park Resort has several fun retail shops and restaurants, and where you will also find the ice skating rink, and free Cabriolet Lift ride to the tubing hill.
Tubing
The Coca Cola tubing hill is a unique new attraction at Winter Park Resort. Grab your friends and fly down the four separate curved lanes and then catch a ride back up on the lift and go for round two. Be sure to stop at the Hill House to warm up and enjoy hot chocolate, fresh-baked cookies, and other offerings. Learn about other great Tubing options here. Ice Skating

Winter Park is a true winter wonderland full of adventure and memories you will come back for again and again. Christmas and New Year’s is always a fun time at Winter Park Resort, with fireworks and the Christmas Eve Torchlight Ski Down. There are also concerts and events during the ski season, including the annual Wells Fargo National Sports Center for the Disabled Ski Cup, and closing weekend’s free Springtopia Concerts and Spring Splash where skiers to to ski all the way across the pond.
