The Derailer Bar at Winter Park Resort is the perfect apres ski environment where you can hang out on the patio and watch the skiers come down the runs, or stop for lunch and a killer bloody before heading back out to the slopes. The Derailer is at the base of the ski resort, so your family and friends that are not hitting the slopes, can still hang out, have some beers, and watch the skiers and boards do flips and jumps down the slopes.

This is also a perfect gathering point while you wait for the rest of your group, as there are huge windows to watch the activity on the slopes, and also listen to the live bands playing inside. Located just above the rental and ski lesson shop and next to the resort retail shop, so there’s plenty to do while you wait for your party to finish the day on the slopes.

The Derailer is also a great spot to view some of the resorts special events, including the free Springtopia concerts and the Spring Splash event where skiers and boards try and ski across the pond on the final day of the ski season.
