From the minute you walk in, you will feel the relaxing mountain escape you’ve been dreaming of. Enjoy Rachel’s Pool year-round, which is a geothermal heated saltwater pool and hot tub. Relax in the dry steam room, sauna, and outdoor hot tub. Perfect for soothing muscles after a long day on the trails or hiking in the summer. Don’t forget to look up and take in the amazing views of the stars at 9,000 ft.

Ranch Creek Spa is an 18,000 sq ft spa overlooking the beautiful ranch and breathtaking mountain views. Revive and rejuvenate yourself with a hot stone massage, a high altitude facial, or a relaxing couples massage. The Cowboy Way for men is an amazing deep tissue massage that will sooth those muscles and reset you for your next adventure.

Cross Country Skiing

Well known for their 100km of perfectly groomed trails, Devil’s Thumb Ranch is cross-country skier’s oasis. Nestled at the base of the Continental Divide, you’ll find out first hand why they were chosen as one of USA TODAY’S Top 10 Best Cross Country Ski Resorts. Private or group lessons are available for skate and classic skiing.

Snowshoeing 

Skiing isn’t your cup of tea? Throw on some snowshoes and enjoy a hike around the Ranch.  A daily trail pass will give you access to all the cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and fat biking trails. And there are even pet friendly trails for you to bring your pup on a least.

Fat Biking

Fat biking at the Ranch is a nice Nordic adventure for all ages. The 20k of trails dedicated to biking will offer some amazing views that everyone will be sure to enjoy. Fat Bikes are available for rent from the Nordic Center. Purchase a daily trail pass and enjoy several trail adventures.

Ice Skating

In the winter, Axel’s Pavilion transforms into an outdoor ice skating rink. Whether it is broomball or figure skating, you’re sure to enjoy spending some quality time out at Devil’s Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa. After ice skating, get some thrill by going tubing on the small hill near Axel’s Pavilion.

Sleigh Riding

Whether you’re looking for a romantic ride under the stars or wanting to meet all of the four-legged friends of the Ranch, you’re in for a treat. Devils Thumb Ranch offers a wide variety of sleigh rides! There is even an option where you can help feed the horses and get up close to them in the open field.
